Description
DA 15-N-06-BLDC-250 Volz Servo 6 volt, is the smallest and lightest full brushless actuator/servo. Its brushless motor and contactless, wear free position sensing system makes the DA 15-N immune to wear, vibrations and shock loads.
About DA 15-N Servo/Actuator
It is designed for use in harsh environments and for safety critical applications that require an servo/actuator with high endurance. The conductive aluminum case and the shielded connection cable reduce the susceptibility to any kind of EMI/RFI noise to the absolute minimum. The servo features position feedback as a standard and is fully programmable.
Advantages of the full brushless servo/actuator:
- Maximized service life through vibration-resistant, brushless DC motor
- Brushless motor technology eliminates the typical electromagnetic noise of brush-type motors and provides ultra-long endurance
- Contactless, wear free position sensing system
- Aluminum housing with minimal weight and size in functional design
- The saltwater-resistant, HART-coat treated aluminum housing withstands at least 100 hours of saltwater spray without damage and meets the IP-67 standard for water and dust protection
- Excellent immunity to any kind of electromagnetic noise achieved with aluminum housing, low electromagnetic emissions through brushless motor
- Several programming possibilities, e.g. overload protection of the internal electric brushless motor, which allows reducing the motor current if the motor is being overloaded
About Volz Servos
A servo from Volz excels due to the simplicity of its design while simultaneously maximizing positioning force, reliability and durability. Moreover, a variety of electric interfaces makes it possible, for instance, to monitor the operating condition of the servos by reading out the current consumption, the internal temperature and humidity, etc.
Every actuator compromises a DC motor, a gear train and control electronics governed by microprocessors with integrated position feedback. These are electromechanical servo units that precisely position a radial output drive.
Depending on the type of actuator, the maximum travel in the standard configuration varies between 90° and 170°. Versions with larger travel of up to 330° or “Multiturn” versions can be provided on request.
