Survey3W Camera Near Infrared

$400.00

Description

Survey3W Camera Near Infrared (NIR) by MAPIR is the newest in our line of simple to use, turn-key survey cameras.

Every Survey3W camera includes an external USB GPS receiver to automatically geo-tag each captured image.

Lenses are non-fisheye and extremely low distortion for great results when aerial surverying. The Survey3W is similar in field of view to most DJI cameras (Mavic, Phantom, Inspire X3) and the medium FOV on a GoPro Hero.

The Survey3W (Wide Lens) 87 degrees HFOV = 5.5cm/px (2.2in/px) GSD.

Features a 12MP sensor and sharp non-fisheye lens allows you to easily capture aerial media. It captures photos on the default time trigger or can be sent a PWM signal through the HDMI port.

If you supply power to the USB port it will power on the camera automatically.

Sized similar to a GoPro Hero, these small survey cameras can attach to an aerial drone platform using various mounts.

NIR 850nm Light

This model captures Near Infrared 850nm light.

It is useful for capturing highly NIR reflective objects such as vegetation to compare with less reflective objects like bare soil.

Camera is also useful for common security CCTV system infrared 850nm LED lights for night-time media capture.

Faster Interval Timer

The Survey3 cameras have a faster interval timer: 1.5 seconds for JPG mode and 2.75 seconds for RAW+JPG mode. Capture speeds depend on the speed of the microSD card.

Users can also trigger the photo capture using a PWM signal through the HDMI port. PWM can also be used to mount the camera’s memory card to a computer connected via USB.

Survey3W Camera Near Infrared Kit Includes
